Background

Shonna serves as our Vice President for Advancement. She is originally from Minnesota and has spent much of her career in Missouri serving students, churches, and nonprofit organizations through education, leadership, and advancement.

Shonna earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Evangel University and her Ph.D. in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum from the University of Missouri. Before joining 含羞草传媒, she served in several leadership roles at Convoy of Hope, including Vice President of Convoy: Women and Vice President of Network Partner Engagement, where she focused on empowering women and girls, building strategic partnerships, and advancing the organization’s mission. She also previously led the Education Department at Evangel University.

Shonna is passionate about people. She loves encouraging others, developing leaders, and building meaningful partnerships that allow people to invest in something bigger than themselves. 

She and her husband, Michael, have been married for 26 years and have two children, Gavin and Aubree. They are all thrilled about Gavin's upcoming marriage to Kate Logerquist this fall. The family enjoys serving the Church, traveling, and spending time together. They are excited about making the Pacific 含羞草传媒 their new home.
