CMHC Clinical Director Support - Graduate Student Worker

Position Summary
Support the CMHC Directors of Clinical Training (DCT) with managing and tracking field placements (practicum/internship) and ensuring compliance with strict clinical training and accreditation standards.
Essential Functions
- Support DCTs in securing, and maintaining clinical placement sites (e.g., community mental health agencies, hospitals, private practices) that align with student learning needs and CACREP standards.
- Assist DCTs tracking and managing the logistics of student practicum and internship placements, including contracts, hours, liability insurance, etc.
- Help plan and execute the annual internship fair.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills
- Current non-CMHC Graduate Student
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, get along well with co-workers, and deal effectively and professionally with colleagues.
- Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a safe work environment free of harassment, violence, and unlawful discrimination.
Working Environment
- Work is generally performed in a typical office setting.
- Some weekend/evening work required.
- Position requires working with sensitive and confidential information. Discretion and ability to maintain privacy is required.
- Frequently required to be in front of a computer screen.
Physical Demands
The functions are usually performed while standing, but may involve some amount of time sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting (max. of 40 lbs.), walking, carrying, reaching, stretching, climbing, perform repetitive motions of the hands or wrists and other movements. The abilities of seeing, hearing and speaking are also required.
