COM Graduate Studies Student Worker
Position Details

Position Summary
Responsible for assisting office support, document preparation, file processing, and other assigned activities.
Essential Functions
- Assist with the calendar scheduling
- Assist with student services
- Assist with student files as needed
- Provide general office support
- Oversees the upkeep of the COM Grad website
Education/Experience/Skills
- Experience and /or desire to work in an office setting.
- Able to take direction and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable and reliable / team player.
- Working knowledge of commonly used applications in Microsoft.
- Professionalism and organizational skills.
- Capable of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrates commitment to maintaining a safe work environment free of harassment, violence, and unlawful discrimination.
Working Environment
- Work is generally performed indoors in a typical office setting.
- Position works with strictly confidential information.
- Frequently required to be in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
Physical Demands
The functions are performed while standing or sitting. Some amount of time may be spent stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting (max. of 40 lbs.), walking, carrying, reaching, stretching, climbing, performing repetitive motions of the hands or wrists and other movements. The abilities of seeing, hearing and speaking are also required.
