Staying the Course: The Power of the Holy Spirit
Last week I published the first of a series of 8 videos related to the theme, “True North: Staying the Course, Charting the Future.” The first video explained what we mean at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ when we talk about being a “Christ-centered University.” Today’s video focuses on “The Power of the Holy Spirit.” Born in the early days of the Pentecostal Movement that swept the world in the 20th Century, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ firmly believes that “having begun in the Spirit,” we will by no means now “be made perfect by the flesh” (Galatians 3:3). It would be foolish to think that in our own wisdom or power we can thrive as a robust Christian university in 21st Century Seattle. We’ve never needed the power of the Spirit more than we do now.
I hope you’ll enjoy my comments in the video, but most importantly, I want you to know where we stand as we stay the course set by our founders and chart the future ahead.
